Betsy Drake Grant: actress, writer, art collector.

It has been my pleasure to represent Betsy Drake in the sale of her Los Angeles property. Ms. Drake had been living in the Chelsea neighborhood in London for the past 13 years, but she maintained her charming Spanish home here in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles. She purchased the home in 1980 and filled it with beautiful paintings, mainly from California artists, and stylish furniture that complimented the 1931 property. Born in Paris in 1923, Ms. Drake passed away on October 27, 2015 at the age of 92. Known for her wit and humor, I am told that she rode her bicycle around London well into her 80′s and that she was sharp, interesting and interested until she died.
